Homepage Mode
Choose what visitors see when they first open your website.
The Homepage Mode setting controls where visitors land when they first visit your website.
Options
Website (default)
Visitors see your custom homepage — the page you've built using the page builder. This is ideal for showcasing your brand, promotions, and story alongside your menu.
Menu
Visitors are redirected straight to the online ordering menu. This is useful if you want to prioritize online orders and skip the landing page entirely.
How It Works
- Website mode: Your homepage content (hero images, text blocks, embedded menus, etc.) is displayed as normal.
- Menu mode: When someone visits your root URL (e.g.
yourrestaurant.com), they are automatically redirected to the/menupage. All other pages (like/aboutor/contact) remain accessible via navigation links.
When to Use Each Mode
| Scenario | Recommended Mode |
|---|---|
| New restaurant building brand awareness | Website |
| Established brand focused on takeout/delivery | Menu |
| Running a promotional landing page | Website |
| Simple operation, orders are the priority | Menu |
Tips
- You can switch between modes at any time — the change takes effect immediately.
- Even in Menu mode, your other website pages are still live and reachable via direct links or navigation menus.
- Pair Menu mode with a well-organized menu structure to give visitors the fastest path to placing an order.
