The basics section identifies your segment and helps your team understand its purpose at a glance.
Segment Name
A short, descriptive name for the segment. This appears in the segments list and when selecting a target audience for campaigns.
Good names clearly describe who the segment targets — for example, "High Spenders", "Inactive Guests", or "Weekly Regulars".
Description
An optional field to explain what this segment represents and when to use it. Useful for teams managing many segments.
Default (built-in) segments cannot be renamed or have their description changed.
