Custom Domain

Connect your own domain to your restaurant website.

Every restaurant gets a free subdomain automatically. You can also connect your own custom domain for a more professional look.

Free Subdomains

Your free subdomain is always active and available at no cost. It's generated automatically when your website is created and cannot be changed.

Connecting a Custom Domain

  1. Go to Website → Domain
  2. Enter your domain name (e.g. yourrestaurant.com)
  3. Click Connect
  4. Follow the DNS setup instructions

DNS Configuration

After connecting a domain, you'll need to add DNS records with your domain provider. The required records depend on whether you're connecting a root domain or a subdomain.

Root domain (e.g. yourrestaurant.com)

  1. Log in to your domain provider (e.g. GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare)
  2. Find the DNS settings for your domain
  3. Add an A record with name @ pointing to the provided IP address
  4. Add a CNAME record with name www pointing to the provided target value
  5. Wait for DNS propagation (can take up to 48 hours)

Subdomain (e.g. order.yourrestaurant.com)

  1. Log in to your domain provider
  2. Find the DNS settings for your domain
  3. Add a CNAME record pointing to the provided target value
  4. Wait for DNS propagation (can take up to 48 hours)

SSL is automatically provisioned once DNS propagation is complete.

Domain Statuses

  • Connected — DNS is verified and your domain is live
  • Pending DNS — Waiting for DNS changes to propagate. Use the Check DNS button to re-verify
  • Not connected — No custom domain has been set up

Disconnecting a Domain

Click Disconnect next to your custom domain to remove it. Your website will still be accessible via the free subdomain.

DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to fully propagate. If your domain shows "Pending DNS" after setup, wait and check again later.
