Payment Options
Payment options define which payment methods your customers can use at checkout. You manage them at the chain level, then enable or disable specific methods per service type.
Payment Options List
The page shows all available payment methods for your chain. Each entry displays:
- Icon — A visual indicator of the payment type (cash, credit card, gift card, etc.)
- Name — The display name customers see at checkout
- Active toggle — A switch to enable or disable the payment method chain-wide
Enabling and Disabling
Use the toggle switch next to each payment option to activate or deactivate it. Disabling a payment option removes it from all service types across your chain. Re-enabling it makes it available again for service types to use.
Reordering
Drag payment options using the grip handle on the left side to change their display order. The order you set here determines how payment methods appear to customers at checkout.
Editing a Payment Option
Click any payment option or its edit icon to open the detail panel. From here you can:
- Name — Update the display name for the payment method
Tipping Override
By default, each payment method uses the tipping settings configured on its service type. You can override this on a per-payment-method basis.
Toggle Override Tipping to customize tipping behavior for a specific payment method. When enabled, the following settings become available:
- Enable Tips — Turn tipping on or off for this payment method
- Suggested Percentages — Set the tip percentage options shown to customers (e.g., 15%, 18%, 20%). You can add or remove options as needed.
- Default Tip — Choose which percentage is pre-selected at checkout, or select "None" for no default
- Allow Custom Tip — Let customers enter a custom dollar amount instead of choosing a preset percentage
When the override is disabled, the payment method falls back to the tipping configuration set on the service type.
