Rule Trigger
Choose what behavior triggers the bonus points.
The Rule trigger section defines what action or condition awards the bonus points.
Available Triggers
- Service Type — Award bonus points for orders placed through specific service types (delivery, pickup, dine-in, curbside). Select one or more service types.
- Category — Award bonus points when members order items from specific menu categories. Requires selecting a location and its menu.
- Item — Award bonus points for purchasing specific menu items. Requires selecting a location and its menu.
- Time-Based — Award bonus points during specific days of the week or hours of the day. Configure active days and optional time windows.
- Spend Threshold — Award bonus points when an order exceeds a minimum dollar amount.
- Sign-Up — Award a one-time bonus when a guest first enrolls in the loyalty program.
- Birthday — Award a bonus around a member's birthday.
Multi-Location vs Menu-Based
- Multi-location rules support service type, time-based, spend threshold, sign-up, and birthday triggers. They can apply across multiple locations.
- Menu-based rules support category and item triggers. They apply to a single location and reference that location's menu.
Sign-up and birthday triggers are lifecycle events — they fire once per qualifying event rather than on every order.
