Configure the checkout experience and customer-facing options.

Customizations control what options and information customers see during the ordering experience. Available options vary by service type.

Instructions

Enable Show Instructions for Customers to display a custom message after customers place their order. Use this to share important details like entrance directions, parking info, or pickup procedures.

Party Size

Enable Require Number of Guests to ask customers how many people are in their party. This can help with order preparation and table management.

Special Instructions

Enable Allow Special Instructions to let customers add free-text notes to their order — like allergy info, cooking preferences, or substitution requests.

Utensils

Enable Display Include Utensils to show a checkbox at checkout asking whether the customer wants utensils included. Helpful for takeout and delivery orders.

Service-Type-Specific Options

Some options are only available for certain service types:

  • Pickup — Notify When Ready, Show Estimated Ready Time
  • Delivery — Delivery Instructions, Contactless Delivery, Leave at Door
  • Dine-in — Require Table Number, Show Estimated Ready Time
  • Curbside — Notify Customer When Ready, Notify Staff on Arrival, "I'm Here" Button
These settings affect what customers see at checkout. They don't change how orders appear in your dashboard.
