Trigger Configuration

Configure when automated emails are sent to guests.

The Trigger Configuration section controls when an automation sends its email. Each automation type has a different trigger based on guest behavior.

Cart Abandon

Set the number of days to wait after a guest creates a cart. If the guest doesn't complete the order within this window, they'll receive a reminder email encouraging them to finish their purchase.

For example, setting the value to 7 days means any guest who added items to their cart but didn't check out within a week will receive the email.

Birthday Email

Set the number of days before a guest's birthday to send the email. This gives guests time to plan a visit or place an order using any included offer.

For example, setting the value to 3 days means the email arrives three days before the guest's birthday.

Adjusting the Trigger

  1. Open the automation from Marketing → Automations
  2. Update the trigger value in the input field
  3. Click Save Changes
Changes to the trigger value take effect immediately for future emails. Guests who have already received an email from this automation will not receive a duplicate.
