Details
Set the name, description, and status for the discount.
The Details section identifies the discount and controls whether it is active.
Name
Give the discount a clear, descriptive name. This helps you and your team quickly identify the discount in the list — for example, "Happy Hour 20% Off" or "Lunch Special $5 Off."
Description
An optional internal note about the discount. This is not shown to guests — use it for context like the reason for the promotion or which campaign it belongs to.
Status
- Active — The discount is live and applied to qualifying orders
- Disabled — The discount exists but is not applied to any orders
You can change the status at any time to quickly enable or disable a discount without deleting it.
