Gift Cards

Issue, redeem, and manage gift cards across your locations.

Gift cards let you sell prepaid value that guests can redeem later. Each card has a unique code, a starting balance, purchaser and recipient details, redemption rules, and a transaction history.

Issuing a Gift Card

  1. Go to Marketing → Gift Cards
  2. Click Issue gift card
  3. Review or customize the generated code
  4. Set the gift card value
  5. Add purchaser and recipient information
  6. Choose where the gift card can be redeemed
  7. Optionally set an expiration date
  8. Click Issue Gift Card

New gift cards are created with an Active status and are ready to be redeemed immediately.

Editing a Gift Card

  1. Go to Marketing → Gift Cards
  2. Click the gift card you want to manage
  3. Update the expiration, redemption locations, or status
  4. Click Save Changes

Purchaser and recipient details are captured when the card is issued and cannot be edited later.

Gift Card Statuses

  • Active — The card can be redeemed and adjusted
  • Cancelled — The card remains on record but can no longer be redeemed

Searching and Filtering

The gift cards list supports:

  • Search — Find gift cards by code or related details
  • Status tabs — View all, active, redeemed, expired, or cancelled cards
  • Balance filter — Narrow cards by remaining balance range
  • Issued filter — View cards by when they were created
  • Sort — Order by newest, oldest, code, or balance
Outstanding balance and redemption activity update automatically as transactions are recorded.
Deleting a gift card permanently removes the card and its transaction history. This action cannot be undone.
