Targeting & Scheduling

Choose recipients and schedule delivery for your campaigns.

Every campaign lets you control who receives the message and when it gets delivered. These settings are available in both the email and SMS editors.

Recipient Targeting

By default, campaigns are sent to all guests. To narrow the audience, enable targeting and select one or more guest segments.

  1. Toggle Target specific segments on
  2. Select the segments you want to reach
  3. The estimated recipient count updates based on your selection

Segments are created and managed in Marketing → Segments. They group guests by behavior, spending, order history, and other criteria.

Estimated Recipients

When targeting is enabled, the editor shows an estimated count of how many guests will receive the campaign. This count is based on the combined membership of the selected segments.

Scheduling

By default, campaigns send immediately when you click Send Now. To send at a future date and time, enable the schedule toggle.

  1. Toggle Schedule on
  2. Pick a delivery date from the calendar
  3. Set the delivery time
  4. Choose the timezone

The campaign is saved and will be sent automatically at the scheduled time. Scheduled campaigns appear with a Scheduled status badge in the campaigns list.

Send Now vs. Schedule

  • Send Now — The campaign begins delivering to recipients immediately after you click Send
  • Schedule — The campaign is queued and delivered at the specified date and time

You can return to a scheduled campaign at any time to edit it or change the delivery time before it sends.

Double-check your recipient count and message content before sending. Once a campaign starts delivering, it cannot be undone.
