Earning Rule Basics
Configure the rule name, description, status, and bonus type.
The Basic information section defines the rule's identity and how it awards bonus points.
Name & Description
Give the rule a clear name (e.g., "Double Points Weekends") and an optional description explaining when or why the bonus applies.
Status
- Active — The rule is live and awarding bonus points
- Scheduled — The rule is set up but waiting for its start date
- Expired — The rule's end date has passed
- Disabled — The rule exists but is not awarding points
Bonus Type
Choose how the bonus is calculated:
- Multiplier — Multiply the base points earned (e.g., 2.0x means double points). The multiplier applies on top of the member's tier multiplier.
- Flat Points — Award a fixed number of bonus points (e.g., 50 bonus points) regardless of order size.
Multiplier bonuses scale with order value, making them better for encouraging larger orders. Flat bonuses are simpler and more predictable.
