Tier Evaluation Period
Choose how tier qualification progress is tracked over time.
The Tier Evaluation Period determines the time window used to evaluate whether members qualify for tier upgrades or downgrades.
Available Options
- Lifetime — Points and activity accumulate over the member's entire history. Members never lose progress toward higher tiers. This is the simplest option.
- Annual — Progress resets at the start of each calendar year. Members must re-qualify for their tier annually.
- Rolling 12 Months — Based on the last 12 months of activity. The evaluation window moves forward continuously, so older activity gradually falls off.
Lifetime evaluation is the most member-friendly option and avoids the complexity of tier downgrades. Annual and rolling evaluations create more urgency but require clear communication to members.
