Order Discounts
Percentage, fixed, or volume discounts applied to entire orders.
Order discounts apply automatic price reductions to entire orders. They are the most flexible discount type, supporting multiple locations and three different value modes.
Discount Modes
- Percentage — Reduce the order total by a percentage (e.g., 15% off). Optionally set a max discount cap to limit the dollar amount saved.
- Fixed Amount — Reduce the order total by a flat dollar amount (e.g., $5 off).
- Volume — Apply a percentage discount when a minimum item quantity is met (e.g., 10% off when ordering 3 or more items).
Multi-Location Support
Order discounts can apply to all locations or be restricted to specific ones. This makes them ideal for chain-wide promotions or regional campaigns.
When to Use Order Discounts
- Chain-wide percentage promotions (e.g., "20% off all orders this weekend")
- Fixed-amount incentives (e.g., "$10 off orders over $50")
- Volume-based deals to encourage larger orders (e.g., "Order 5+ items, get 10% off")
Order discounts apply to the entire order total. To discount specific menu items or categories, use a Menu discount instead.
